What is a Dry Herb Vaporizer?
A dry herb vaporizer is a portable battery-operated device that creates vapour for inhalation from dry herb materials. It has a small chamber in which dry herb is heated up, and when it reaches a suitable temperature depending on the material used, vapour is produced which you then inhale through a mouthpiece.
There are various types of dry herb vaporizers: vape pens, hand-held portable dry herb vaporizers and the desktop varieties that are stationery. In our vaporizer shop we sell portable dry herb vaporizers.
Nectar vaporizers are primarily convection vaporizers, though there is a small conduction aspect as the herbs touch the sides of the chamber. Convection is a method whereby the dry herb is surrounded by hot air in order to release vapour. Conduction on the other hand creates vapour by having the herb touch the heat source, so there is more combustion. Therefore, many people prefer the convection method as there is no combustion. Convection vaping generally leads to less wastage and stronger vapours. Whilst convection heating is slower to heat up the herb than conduction, it’s more efficient and releases more of the flavour profiles of the herb material.
Can You Only Use Dry Herbs With Nectar Vaporizers?
The Nectar V2 dry herb vaporizer is for use with dry herb only. If you would like to have the option of vaporising both dry herb and concentrates then the Nectar Gold and Nectar Platinum provide this 2-in-1 function.
Concentrates (also known as wax or resin) are the liquid form of dry herbs which you can obtain through extraction. If you want to check out how to make concentrates at home, this can now be done safely and easily with a diy rosin press machine.
Can I Use My Nectar Dry Herb Vaporizer with a Bong?
Yes! Any of the Nectar dry herb vaporizers can easily be used with a bong or to create a vape-bong setup. There are two ways you can do this: with your own bong if you have one using the Nectar glass bong adapter, or if you don’t have your own bong, with the Nectar glass water bubbler. Here’s more on these two methods.
With Your Own Bong
If you have a bong already, you can use the Nectar glass bong adapter to connect any Nectar dry herb vaporizer to your bong. So you get to take advantage of the cooler vapour from the added water filtration in the bong, whilst also having the benefit of the vaporizer’s heating chamber and the filtering out of the fine debris from reaching your throat.
A glass bong adapter gives you the power to take control of your vaping experience and enjoy an even smoother vaping experience. Many people find this setup reduces coughing as the vapour is less dry and therefore easier on the throat. Also, a bong provides bigger hits of cool, cleaner vapour than with just a bong.
The Nectar glass bong adapter is of medicinal grade and can be used with any of our vaporizers: Nectar v2, Nectar Gold or the Nectar Platinum.
Without Your Own Bong
The Nectar glass water bubbler, or vape bubbler, is the middle ground between a large bong, which can be somewhat cumbersome, and a non-cooling dry pipe. It lets you enjoy the benefits of a bong in an easy, portable way.
Since it’s small, it can be easily carried around whilst you’re on the go (but do remember to protect it well as it is glass!)
You get the benefits of a bong with the water filtering out toxins resulting in cleaner, as well as cooler vapour.
You don’t need any other accessories with the Nectar glass water bubbler – it already comes with a connector to attach the bubbler to your Nectar dry herb vaporizer, whether the Nectar v2, Nectar Gold or the Nectar Platinum The Nectar glass water bubbler is made of medicinal grade glass.

I’ve been using my vapouriser for around 8 weeks and am very happy with it. I can no longer smoke so this has made my life a lot easier. It’s user friendly and works a treat. In the box you get the vapouriser, 4 metal filters, a wire brush, pipe cleaners, metal rod and a file. I clean mine thoroughly at least twice a week and use the metal brush to clean the filter. I tend to clean the filters after a couple of uses as they can get clogged up. The unit does need to be charged regularly as the battery does run down after a few goes. You can still use it when it’s charging and the lead is a good length.
I cannot praise the Customer Service I received from Nectar enough. They resolved my problem and got me up and running again in 48 hours.
If like me you’re not able to smoke, this is the next best thing.

It would benefit from some adjustable airflow and it does get pretty warm to touch when using it. Also, you, or at least I, needed to run the sterilization cycle a good number of times before the fume smell went away. I think that was mostly the metal gauze in the chamber rather than plastic or anything from the device.
The battery could also do with a little more juice, or faster charge times however it’s not something I would complaint about.
Overall I would recommend this device as a good vaporizer starter. It gives great flavour and is easy to use, at a decent price

Having used various vaporisers over the years I am more than happy I purchased this one, I’ve had similar vapourisers, the ones you load from the top of the unit but I found the cleaning regime a bit of a pain due to the amount of parts. Whereas this unit is loaded from the bottom & does away with the excess cleaning regime, a quick wipe with cleaning alcohol on a cotton bud, swipe of a pipe cleaner on the chamber hole & you’re ready to go. I set the temperature at 190° & could not be happier with the result.
The only issue I found was the amount of chosen herb required to fully load the chamber which was too much for me, so i took a liquid pad from my old Storm Vaporiser (oval shaped ones), moulded a little tinfoil around it & after loading the chamber half full I put the liquid pad on top of the herb to compress it down, fit the chamber lid on & it vaporises very nicely without using excess herbs. Also comes with a 5 year warranty (register online otherwise you only get the 12 month warranty).
From another review I read I believe this Vaporiser is British made which is a rarity in this market, am very happy with my purchase & can recommend

Oh my goodness! I cannot recommend enough. For all you ‘herb’ smokers out there you’re not going to get anything that is more discreet, and hides the smell when not smoking as well as this.
It heats up fast, has a frickin buzzer to tell you when it’s ready to be inhaled, and honestly it makes the herb last so much longer. Plus, set the heat low enough and be smart and you can use the herbs and make cannabutter with them, as long as they’re not too burnt.
Cannot recommend enough and I absolutely love the design, the screen, the feel. Everything.

This one is great, but its a little tough to inhale through compared to the Gold and i do keep getting little bits of bud come up through it even though i have only coarsely ground it. I’ve purchased one other dry herb vape before so I don’t have too much for comparison but I’ll be as thorough as possible.
I have lots of health issues so I’ve been looking for a healthier way to consume my herbal than smoking, dry herb vapes seem to be the way to go but last time my experience was not good. I opted to pay more this time in the hope that I would have better quality. I was correct!
Firstly the vape works very well, I’m still fiddling around with it and finding what works for me but so far it does help. It takes a little longer to kick in compared to smoking, and the effects aren’t as strong straight away, but the taste is lovely and much more clean.
The design is discreet, sleek and holds nice in your hand. I love the little mouthpiece it’s much more hygienic than some other vapes, however it is a bit stiff and fiddly.
My perfect temp seems to be 190°c, I get around 3 uses of it before I have to change my herbs, and I’m using around 4 smokes worth in the chamber. This works fine for day time use as I’m a much lighter smoker, its great for not getting you too couch locked ?? and for not stinking the house out with herbs!

Picked this up a couple of weeks ago and what a solid find! Was looking for a low-mid range vaper that did the job, convection ceramic oven and lots of temps.
This surpassed my expectations to be honest.
Really great experience everytime I have used it. The led screen is excellent for knowing what is going on including temps and battery life. Cleaning is a easy and straight forward process and the replacement parts are easily available.
One of the best things though is the customer support. I have asked them a couple of questions now and they have been absolutely superb! They have my trust now, and I am almost tempted to buy the Nectar Gold as I know it would just be better!
It does get hot when sanitising, but it is at about 225degrees celcius, so that is expected, and I can imagine in the winter it might be quite nice when popping out.

Pros:
– Uses less of your herb – although since I’ve enjoyed it, my tolerance is creeping up. 0.15 was the first amount, now I am around 0.2-0.3 depending on how much I want. 0.4-0.5 is probably the max it can hold.
– Small and concealable – I am one to have my herb discretely so now when I go for walks I don’t have to find a secluded spot to enjoy, I can stand out in the open and go about my herb consumption.
– Since you use herbs and nothing else in the chamber, I no longer have the need for sage (a good alternative than baccy) to mix in with your jazz cigarettes. (Try sage over baccy next time)
– Easy to clean. They recommend dipping your rod, mesh and mouthpiece in 90% alcohol but you could use 70% wipes that you can buy on amazon, and just wipe each part down.
– Doesn’t smell as bad. I can use this in my room with nobody none the wiser. Light some incense before having a vape and you are good to go.
– Different kind of high. Less of a body high and more of a head high.
– At first I thought it would be difficult to use but it’s really simple and after the first use, I have not needed to refer back to the manual to know things.
– 8 minute sessions. The device shuts after 8 mins which can be used as an indication of when to take a break and go again later. I am one of those users that keep toking until nothing’s left – so this is handy.
– You can re-use your stuff to make edibles if you want but the residue is smelly and you’ll need a smell proof – also would need a lot since each chamber can only hold up to ~0.4.
– You can also re-vape the same chamber twice since the first two times I found a lot of herb was still green and unaffected – the vaped herb is brown. It might be wise to give it a mix with the rod before packing it down again.
– Best used when you are in busy places because it’s concealable and doesn’t smell that bad. You can’t really walk around with a j now can you?
– Came well packaged.
Cons:
– Although it is recommended to use at 180C, I don’t really feel the effects or much of the smoke only occurs when you max it out at 225C.
– Having used to smoke without a vapouriser the high is different compared to now, I’m not sure if I like it as much personally. You get a head high more than a body high.
– Mouth piece is slightly difficult to unclog without a thorough clean. Mesh easily stains but does not effect function.
– Some of the cleaning tools are unnecessary (personally) since I only need the pipe cleaner and rod. The knife and wire brush are overkill.
– Battery is pretty poor, I’ve had to charge it twice now and got about 3 good uses out of it. Not too sad because this quarantine has got me using the vape more than I normally would.
– You are limited to small sessions, having mentioned earlier that 0.4-0.5 is seemingly the max it can hold and even then, most of the herb doesn’t get vapourised.
– Not a fan of the flavour and scent it gives off but it’s not the end of the world, have some chewing gum and spray on hand if you are out and about.
– Doesn’t produce much smoke – could be a pro for some but I am a fan of clouds and vaping using this device doesn’t make much. I usually take the cloud size as an indicator for how much I am smoking.
– Will never beat a traditional J. But it’s a forward thinking way of enjoying the herb.
Summary:
– Overall, a really good device to use if you are a beginner of vapourisers like myself. I would keep this for another year or so before upgrading for a bigger/expensive model that could do better in the aspects that fall short.
– But it does the job at the moment and I can’t really complain.
– Helpful if you want to cut down on consumption and/or want to quit smoking.
– Can’t comment on pain relief (hence 3/5 and flavour is a bit meh – but don’t let that sway you).

There are only a couple of things that are an issue for me but things I can live with given the benefit I receive for pain relief.
1 the unit gets very hot quite fast and the battery needs recharging more frequently than I expected.
2 The pipe cleaners supplied are great for cleaning the airway but do not fit in the mouthpiece completely. The unit needs cleaning frequently for best results but I don’t mind this.

My niece advised me to get one of these to reduce my tobacco intake. Her friend had bought one that cost over £100! I showed her this one and it does everything that the more expensive one does so I decided to try it- Its great! No rolling, no tobacco, it’s so quick and easy to fill/use. General ~
THIS IS THE FIRST VAPE I HAVE EVER OWNED!
Now with that out of the way I’ve owned this vape for a couple of weeks at the time of writing it and will break down my thoughts on each aspect of the vape.
Packaging ~
When it arrived the packaging was flawless and well presented, it came with a cleaning kit, some additional spare peripherals and a charging lead. The charger is just usb to usb micro so you’ll need to make sure you have a socket or somewhere to plug the USB.
Battery ~
The battery is more than acceptable, anywhere over 3/4 will last me for my entire day out and about with intermittent usage every hour or so. There has only been two occasions where I’ve forgotten to charge it and I’ve had to use my power-bank out and about (Which is on me not the vape, the battery should be more than enough for an entire day’s usage). However if you plan on using this vape heavily at an event or with friends then the battery could be potentially inadequate and if the vape is maintained at a high temperature for a long period of time it can become quite hot, as can the nosel when toking it.
Performance ~
So, like mentioned before hand this is the first vape I’ve purchased, and I was blown away by the ability to tune the temperature of my BASIL and OTHER HERBS to an appropriate temperature for what I want at the time. You can also notice the tastes between various HERBS and temperatures. Heating is more than adequate although it does feel like it’s taking quite a long time some times, although it’s always within a perfectly tolerable window.
Screen & Interaction ~
The manual offers a set of nice concise instructions on how to operate the vape and configure vibrations and such. The instructions are also very intuitive for configuring the temperature desired, the screen also offers a very simple layout that’s easy to read. However to turn the vape on/off it requres 5 button presses which feels excessive? Three would be appropriate but that’s not a big deal.
Cleaning & Maintanence ~
So, the (My) cleaning kit comes with:
1 Firm Wire Bristle Brush
1 Metal Tube
5 Pipe Cleaners
1 Additional Nosel
1 Additional Back Panel
1 Flat metal thing (Idk what it is or what it’s for)
It’s a good idea to give a quick clean of the vape after each use, just push one of the pipe cleaners down the tube 2-3 times with the provided metal tube (You’ll need to remove the nosel and gauze for this). And whilst the pipe cleaner struggles to fit down the nosel gap it will, don’t worry about any force because the nosel is metal but you can get blockages in the nosel over time which will impede on your experience.
Then occasionally for a more thorough clean you can use the wire brush to clean the top and bottom and exterior, also the nosel and back panel. Then a small amount of isopropyl alcohol on one of the pipe cleaners then push it down the inner tube several times. Allow to dry then reassemble.

After my first one arrived defective the company reached out to me directly offering to replace it at no charge, this is great customer service, most companies don’t seem to care after you have parted with your money but these guys do.
I have only used it a few times but so far so good, I am trying to give up smoking tobacco so had to look for alternatives to use and this is one that came up when searching several times.
You do need to pack the chamber to make sure everything heats up evenly so it may used up a bit more dry herb than you would normally use in other methods but I think the hits do seem to be a bit more intense (I am not complaining about this,) however I don’t feel like it lasts as long but still a good experience.
If this one does keep going strong I am sure I will upgrade to the slightly higher end version as at the time this was all new to me and I didn’t want to spend a huge amount of money in case it wasn’t for me.

I recently upgraded to the Nectar v2 from the BLK Black Mamba and have so far been impressed by the relative quality of the v2. The LED screen and vibrations are really useful features, and the vape produces a nice amount of vapour. Cleaning it is easy and it comes with a kit of accessories to help with this (pipe cleaners, spare parts, etc). The device is small and portable, and doesn’t get very hot to the touch even when the inner chamber is at 220 degrees c. It is also great that you can use it while it is charging. Those are my general impressions after using it for a few weeks!

The Nectar V2 dry herb vaporiser is a great little vaporiser.
I am fairly new to using dry herb vaporisers and the nectar V2 is easy and simple to set up, clean and use.
The taste is quite good, there’s no plastic taste or foul tastes like other brands.
My first hit of this vaporiser came as a bit of a shock as the mouthpiece allows great airflow and I was able to get a huge mouthful of vapour!
The only con I can perhaps give it, and this is picky, is the fact that it completely cooks most material in about 30 minutes, so refills may be required for longer sessions.

initially I had problems Charging as hindered by a loose connection in the lead. It needed to be held at a particular angle for the device to charge. I contacted customer services who speedily provided a return request and replaced/ repaired the issue.
It now works great. Keeps good battery life & a smooth vape

This product is just what I needed, this is my first vaporizer, always smoked spliffs so I was slightly sceptical, it’s taken me 3 loads to work out how your “herb” burns to hit the right temp to hit your sweet spot, it all depends on your bud basically I hit the spot on 210c, I also worked out if you have a good hit switch off then reuse the herb until it goes a brown, I had 1 session and binned ? I wont do that again, my only gripe is the mouth piece, a rounded shape would be better imo but that’s honestly the only negative I have, feels nice and sturdy, battery charge and life is fab, easy to use and clean, price is very reasonable

Worth every penny, you could spend £200 on a more advanced unit but that’s if you have a lot of spare cash.

Definitely an upgrade from my last vape!
I recently upgraded to the Nectar v2 from the BLK Black Mamba and have so far been impressed by the relative quality of the v2. The LED screen and vibrations are really useful features, and the vape produces a nice amount of vapour. Cleaning it is easy and it comes with a kit of accessories to help with this (pipe cleaners, spare parts, etc). The device is small and portable, and doesn’t get very hot to the touch even when the inner chamber is at 220 degrees c. It is also great that you can use it while it is charging. Those are my general impressions after using it for a few weeks!

After my first one arrived defective the company reached out to me directly offering to replace it at no charge, this is great customer service, most companies don’t seem to care after you have parted with your money but these guys do.
I have only used it a few times but so far so good, I am trying to give up smoking tobacco so had to look for alternatives to use and this is one that came up when searching several times.
You do need to pack the chamber to make sure everything heats up evenly so it may used up a bit more dry herb than you would normally use in other methods but I think the hits do seem to be a bit more intense (I am not complaining about this,) however I don’t feel like it lasts as long but still a good experience.
If this one does keep going strong I am sure I will upgrade to the slightly higher end version as at the time this was all new to me and I didn’t want to spend a huge amount of money in case it wasn’t for me.

Perfect first vape and cleaner method
So I recently bought this product to replace my cheech and Chong as its supposed to be a cleaner method of smoking, I was a bit unsure at first but after trial and error with the temperature and how much to put in I personally prefer it on the highest heat setting as it creates more vapour and actually feels like you’re smoking something and I pack the chamber with about 0.7 of flower and compress it with the lid or a clipper flint works just as well. The high is definitely different supposedly more cleaner I find it doesn’t last as long as a bowl nor is it as intense but it still does the trick and couldn’t be more perfect for public spaces or if you have uncool neighbours it’s so discreet and portable I wish I bought one sooner. The only fault which I wouldn’t give it a full star rating is the battery it tends to go down about half way after 1-2 uses which isn’t really a issue for me as I keep a portable charger handy and plug it straight in when I’m done using, it also can be charged whilst you use it which is pretty cool. Perfect for beginners like myself easy to use and comes with some neat accessories to keep it all clean. Highly recommend.

This is my first foray into dry herb vaping and i am pleasantly surprised.
I haven’t used tobacco with herb for almost two weeks now.
A nice clear, lucid buzz. Smooth to inhale. I think this is perfect for beginners. The only downside is that the device gets a bit hot so i have to let it cool down for 10-15 mins between bowls.

This is a decent quality vape. It’s the first one I’ve owned, I’ve tried mates’ before but this is as good or better than any others I’ve tried.
It’s simple to operate, easy to use, easy to clean. Takes about 60 seconds to heat up to the right temperature. Battery easily lasts 2 or 3 sessions minimum (depending how much you use it obviously).
Feels very good quality, nice weight and is a good size, I took it to a gig in London the other night and it was perfectly discreet that I didn’t mind carrying it around.

Only been using the product for a week but it fantastic. Once fully charged I followed the instructions for its use (easy to follow). Adjusted the setting slightly and allowed the element to heat up. It heated up quickly but found that you need to give it a few seconds between each draw. Other than that it was well worth the investment.

Very satisfied, got it a day before the estimated arrival (nice surprise), and tried it immediately. It’s very practical, has a weak odor that disappears in minutes, fast and has a great design. Also it seems as the used herb can be reused, even though it’s effects are considerably weaker. But the chamber is a bit small, and it gets a bit hot after 5-7 min use. But all in all very much worth it.

Battery life wasnt an issue since i normally plug it into my laptop and use it while i write. But out and about i get about 3-4 sessions out of a full battery which is good enough.
Its durable, i dropped it a few times accidently and its still operantional. So thats good.
The device senses inactivity so if you’re distracted from watching tv or watever, it will vibrate to say hello im still here running hot… after a while it shuts it self off if it senses that you havn’t picked it up.
Tip for the seller.
What you should do is create little pockets/cartridge that fit into the chamber, these will hold the dry herb. Then instead of putting herb in the chamber, these little container cartdirges hold the herb. That make cleaning easier, and you can pre pack cartrdges and slot them in without having to discard crumbled material.
Also a cleaning solution would be great. At the moment im using rubbing alchohol to clean the chamber, the shaft and mouth peice to remove any oil build up.

Super vape, if you don’t set the temperature to high you can still get a real nice taste of what your smoking. Negatives battery life is poor, and the display outside in daylight is useless, but it does vibrate if you know what buttons to press first its not a problem. Will last about 20min smoke time, It does recharge quick and gets to temperature set point fast. It really is a great little vape, I totally recommend it for when a mobile vape is required, as long as you can recharge.

This is the 3rd dry herb vapouriser we have purchased recently & by far the best. The other 2 were both different brands in a similar price range & both performed ok but both were subject to manufacturing / design defects & were returned. This neat little pen is smart, nice to hold, good sized oven & works REALLY well!! Battery life is absolutely fine, we’ve had 4/5 sessions from the first charge. If you are considering purchasing it, I’d say absolutely go for it – BUT – an important point to note is that it is a fairly tight draw, kind of simulating smoking – mouth to lung style – opposed to most popular ecig vapes these days which are lung hitters. Last point to note – put your herbs in the oven & compact them until it is around half full for best results. I found 180c was a good temperature to run it. Very happy with this device & would buy again if needed!

I wasn’t too sure about this product at first. I thought it was a waste of money. However, I persevered and started to really enjoy the experience. It takes about 30 seconds to heat up. It’s a very clean form of inhaling. It appears to filter away residue. Very smooth. Very clean and any smells appear to disperse very quickly. But, it’s not just the product that impressed me the retailer was always available to answer any questions. I was concerned about where to extra components such as the mesh shield and mouth piece as I couldn’t find anywhere or anyone on the net who supplied this. TeeKoo immediately supplied me with extra shields. It would be a good idea for them to add these accessories to their website as no one in the Western world appears to have thought of it. Excellent product. Excellent customer service given by Teekoo. Thumbs up to TeeKoo!

I ordered this vape last week, unfortunately when the vape arrived the display wasn’t working properly. So I contacted the seller to complain and Luke at TeeKoo promptly replied to address my concerns. He assured me it was unusual and wasnt typical of the vape. This is my 4th vape . Inexpensive but definitely not cheap. All other inexpensive vapes stopped working after 6 weeks but this one is still going strong after 6 months. It’s a bottom loader which is great, the mouth piece won’t get excessively hot. Because it’s a bottom loader it requires less cleaning . The temp can be set to 225° but can be to hot for enjoyment. It works best around 210° for best results. I would buy again . Highly recommend this product

First and formost battery life for me is a neccessity for a product like this and it has exceeded expectations. I’m really impressed with this great buy. The controls are simple and easy to use, the chamber heats up super quickly and the the digital display + vibrate function are perfect for showing the heating progress and alert you when it’s ready to go!
I expected a bigger visible vape cloud so wasn’t sure it was working at first. But don’t be fooled – there’s still plenty of action going on there. How much cloud you see will just depend on how you pack the chamber. Excellent design: no problem to carry around in your pocket + when the mouthpiece is folded away it just looks like a posh portable charger. Holds charge well and recharges pretty quickly.
Order processed and delivered swiftly as promised. Item in perfect condition on arrival as well as fully charged for use straight away! Very easy to set up and use (clear and concise instruction booklet).

Heats up to 225 degrees celcius in about a minute, slick design, nifty chamber access – the removable lid has a magnet to slot into place after filling up the chamber. For it’s price, it really is worth it :D will answer any questions as very happy with my purchase. Just hope the battery keeps it’s longevity!

Brought a couple of weeks ago now and still yet to find anything majorly wrong with it. Very quick to heat up and extremely simple to use. Comes with replacement parts and a cleaning kit. One downside seems to be the battery going down fairly quickly. However this is only an issue if you’re being extremely picky as leaving it on charge overnight is easy enough to do. Overall very happy so far!!
