This large capacity 3500mah rechargeable 18650 battery can be used as a replacement battery for any product which accepts an 18650 battery, including torches and vapes such as our Nectar Gold dry herb vaporizer and our Nectar Platinum dry herb vape.
Why Nectar 18650 Batteries?
All our vape batteries are rechargeable, high-drain and offer a high capacity (3000mah or 3500mah). Just to be clear – ‘mah’ refers to milliampere/hour, which is a measurement of (electric) power over time. High-drain batteries are for power-hungry devices that need a constant supply of power.
The 18650 rechargeable battery offers 3500mah which means it’s made for power-hungry devices that need a constant supply of power. These batteries hold higher voltages under a heavy load, and can put out more amperage than a non high-drain battery, this means you get the power when you need it.
Rechargeable Batteries – What Are the Benefits?
Rechargeable batteries can be recharged with a simple battery charger and therefore produce less waste. It’s also more efficient for the planet because recharging batteries with a battery charger is more energy efficient than the cost and energy of making new batteries. Throw-away batteries have a further adverse effect on the environment as batteries end up in landfills (if not disposed of via recycling processes), resulting in dangerous chemicals such as lead, cadmium, lithium and even mercury being leached into the ground which then make their way into the water supply, and eventually the ocean.
Rechargeable batteries also provide the convenience, control and flexibility around charging your vaporizer without your needing to purchase further batteries each time the battery charge runs out. After the initial outlay in purchasing a charger you can re-use your batteries over and over again, which is good for your purse and for the planet, and convenient.
The Nectar Dual 18650 battery charger is not just a charger but a power bank, and you’ll get two 3500mah batteries. With this handy 18650 power bank, you’ll be able to charge your Nectar vaporizer as well as charge your 18650 batteries – this can be done either simultaneously or separately as you prefer, which makes it more convenient with less waiting time.
Can You Use Nectar 18650 Batteries with Non-Nectar Devices?
For sure! Nectar 18650 batteries are suitable for any device that accepts a 18650 rechargeable and replaceable battery. Our batteries are not just for our vaporizers!

What Size Batteries Do Dry Herb Vaporizers Usually Need?
18650 Li-ion batteries are the most common battery for dry herb vaporizers. They’re a bit larger than standard AA batteries – 18mm by 65mm. Want to know the difference between an 18650 battery and an AA battery? Read on…
Is an 18650 Battery the Same as an AA battery?
No, 18650 and AA batteries differ in size, voltage, current discharge and type. Here’s a summary of these differences.
An 18650 battery is a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, while an AA battery can be made from a variety of different materials apart from lithium-ion, including zinc-carbon, alkaline, nickel-cadmium, nickel-metal hydride (NiMH).
18650 rechargeable Li-ion Batteries are larger in diameter and length than standard AA batteries. In fact, ‘18650’ gives the size of these batteries away – the “18” refers to the diameter of the battery in millimetres (18mm) and the “65” refers to the length (65mm). Makes sense! However the name of AA batteries doesn’t give their size away, which is around 14.5mm by 50.5mm.
Typically, an 18650 battery has a higher voltage of 3.6V versus a lower voltage of around 1.5V for an AA battery.
Discharge of Current
A standard AA alkaline or NiMH battery offers between 2000mah and 3000mah, whilst our 18650 batteries are 3000mah and 35000mah (so not that different). The difference however is that the 18650 battery discharges more current at any one time than an AA battery which draws only a few amps at any one time.
