Uses
These large capacity 18650 Li-ion rechargeable batteries can be used as replacement batteries for any product which accepts 18650 batteries, including torches and vapes such as our Nectar Gold dry herb vaporizer and our Nectar Platinum dry herb vape.
Why Nectar Batteries?
All our vape batteries are high-drain, rechargeable and offer a high capacity (3000mah or 3500mah). Just to be clear – ‘mah’ is milliampere/hour, it’s a unit that measures (electric) power over time. High-drain batteries are for power-hungry devices that need a constant supply of power.
Can Nectar Batteries Be Used with Any Device?
Yes! The 18650 Li-ion rechargeable batteries we sell in our shop are suitable for any device or gadget that takes a 18650 rechargeable and replaceable battery, they’re not just for our vaporizers!
Our vaporizers take standard 18650 batteries that can be recharged and replaced, giving you control and flexibility around charging your vaporizer.
What Batteries Do You Sell?
Here’s a list of the batteries we offer, they are all 18650 Li-ion rechargeable batteries:
18650 Battery 3000mah (x1 battery)
18650 Battery 3500mah (x1 battery)
18650 Batteries 3000mah (x2 battery)
Nectar Dual 18650 Power Bank & Charger
To complement our batteries we also offer a vape battery charger – as you have to have a way of charging up the batteries, right! Our Nectar Dual 18650 battery charger is not just a battery charger though – it’s also a power bank, and it comes with two 3500mah batteries included. With this 18650 power bank, you can be charging your Nectar vaporizer whilst also charging your batteries – either at the same time or separately as you wish.
What Size Batteries Does a Vaporizer Take?
The majority of vaporizers take 18650 Li-ion batteries which are the most popular sized battery for powering a vape device. 18650 batteries are a bit larger than standard AA batteries: 18mm by 65mm. Read on to find out more about the differences between 18650 and AA batteries.
Is an 18650 Battery the Same as an AA Battery?
No. 18650 and AA batteries are different in size, voltage, current discharge and type. Here’s a summary of how they differ in these aspects.
Type
An 18650 battery is a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, while AA batteries can be many types such as zinc-carbon, alkaline, nickel-cadmium, nickel-metal hydride (NiMH), as well as lithium-ion.
Size
18650 Li-ion rechargeable batteries are slightly larger than standard AA batteries. In fact, ‘18650’ actually tells you the size of these batteries – the “18” refers to the diameter of the battery in millimeters (18mm) and the “65” refers to the length (65mm). But AA batteries don’t have their size in their name – their size is around 14.5mm in diameter and 50.5mm in length.
Voltage
Typically, an 18650 battery has a nominal voltage of 3.6V whilst a Nickel-Cadmium (NiCD) or Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMD) AA battery has 1.5V. In simple terms, this means you’d need 2.5 AA batteries (end-to-end) to get the same voltage as one 18650 battery. So 18650 batteries provide greater voltage (Voltage is what makes electric charges move, it pushes the charge…).
Discharge of Current
In terms of discharge of power, a standard AA alkaline or NiMH battery offers between 2000 and 3000mah. Whilst our 18650 batteries are 3000mah and 35000mah (so not that different from an AA) – the difference is the way in which the 18650 discharges the current. An AA battery draws only a few amps at any one time, the 18650 battery can draw a lot more current, hence the term ‘high-drain’.

First you’ll be amazed ss it’s 3500 not 3000 as been advertised.
Second, although all nominal capacity is 35% more than actual chargeable of all brands. But this LG 3500 give you 2200 mah actual to compare with other brands that I used with max. 1880 mah.
Keep the charge for heavy vapers very well as I’m one of them.
You get roughly about a FULL DAY VAPING charge out of it.
So happy with it and suggest all vapers to try it.
You will get value for money.👍👌

Great batteries. Fast postage thanks!
Mr. Gerald Richmond –
Obviously, the batteries are only much good in the vape itself! But they are, and you should always have spares of anything that is essential ;-)
